He completed a residency in internal medicine at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, where he was chief resident. He completed a fellowship in nephrology at University of Florida Health Shands Hospital in Gainesville, where he was chief nephrology fellow. He joins Daryl Crenshaw, MD, Merrill Hicks, MD, and Raul Santos, MD, at Georgia Kidney and Hypertension Clinic in Thomasville. ADAM MARLER, MD, Cardiovascular Consultants of South Georgia Dr. Marler earned a bachelor of science degree in biochemistry and molecular biology from the University of Georgia and a medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta. He completed a residency in internal medicine at Keesler Medical Center in Biloxi and a fellowship in cardiology at San Antonio Military Medical Consortium. He joins general cardi- ologists Kash Choksi, MD, PhD; William Ellis, MD; James Karas, MD; and Robert Miles, MD, and interventional cardiologists Christopher Daniels, MD; Pranav Diwan, MD; and Clay Sizemore, MD, at Cardiovascular Consultants of South Georgia in Thomasville. DANIEL MATTA, MD, Southland Hospitalist Group Dr. Matta earned a bachelor of science degree in biomedical sciences with a minor in biomed- ical physics and a doctor of medicine degree, all from the University of South Florida in Tampa. He completed a residency in family medicine at Bayfront Health St. Petersburg in St. Petersburg, Florida, and a fellowship in hospitalist medicine at Central Maine Medical Center. He will be treating patients at Archbold Memorial Hospital. NOEMI LEFRANC MATTA, MD, Cairo Medical Care Archbold’s Grady General Hospital recently welcomed OB-GYN physician Noemi LeFranc Matta, MD, to the medical staff. Dr. LeFranc Matta earned a bachelor of science degree in biology, with minors in both chemistry and business, from Florida State University. She earned a medical degree from the Florida State University College of Medicine and completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Bayfront Health in St. Petersburg, Florida. Dr. LeFranc Matta will be treating patients at Cairo Medical Care in Cairo. BRIAN MCLAUGHLIN, FNP-C, Wellness Life Center McLaughlin earned a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Florida A&M University and a master of science degree in nursing from Albany State University. McLaughlin is now treating patients at Wellness Life Center in Cairo. JENNIFER MILLS, FNP, Emergency Medicine, Archbold Memorial Hospital Mills earned a bachelor of science degree in nursing and a master of science degree in family practice nursing from Chamberlain University in Addison, Illinois. She will be seeing patients in the emergency department at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville.
