Poor posture and flexibility Uneven pressure on the spine is the root of many back and other muscle problems. With slouching comes sore mus- cles, in particular of the neck and back. Mommy tummy Mommy tummy, also known as diastasis recti, is a very common condition during and following pregnancy. The most common symptom is a bulge in your stomach that may make you appear pregnant, even though you no longer are. Headaches Headaches are very common. They can also be very disabling and lead to a decreased quality of life. Neck, shoulder and low-back pain Pain in the neck, shoulders and lower back is common in women and can be caused by a number of issues, like injury due to physically strenuous work and activity, long peri- ods of sitting, pregnancy, and childbirth. Bladder control Urinary incontinence is highly common. Many factors can cause increased pressure on the bladder and/ or a weakening of the pelvic floor, such as pregnancy and childbirth, injury, or surgery.
