WINTER 2016
3
THE THEME
throughout this issue of
Archives
is gratitude.
On the following pages, there are three
different patient stories, each sharing
expressions of gratitude for the way we’ve
provided their care.
As we end our 90th year in operation
and look forward to meeting challenges
in the years to come, I took some time to
reflect on what I’m grateful for.
At the end of the day, nothing is more
important than people, and that’s where
my gratitude lies.
I’m grateful for the people that walk
through the doors every day to work in
facilities throughout our entire Archbold
health system. We’re blessed to have
outstanding and skilled physicians, clini-
cians, administrators and support staff.
Every year, Archbold’s team is in con-
stant motion and adaptation: delivering
award-winning care, or acquiring new
technology, or opening new practices, or
providing different services to best meet
the needs of our region. And time
after time, regardless of the challenge,
our employees work together through
a shared vision to achieve common
goals.
I’m also grateful to the people in the
communities we serve. We have mul-
tiple all-volunteer boards of directors
that spend many hours helping ensure
continued success at Archbold. We have
generous donors that make thought-
ful, impactful gifts to the Archbold
Foundation that help us with a variety of
projects, from educational scholarships
to something you’ll read about in this
issue—a new 3-D mammography unit.
And we continue to be the leading choice
for patients throughout the region, which
we deeply appreciate.
As I reflect, it’s really humbling to con-
sider the selflessness of those within the
walls of the hospital and the support we
receive outside those walls.
For those people, I’m most grateful.
Whywe give
THOMASVILLE NATIONAL BANK AND TNB FINANCIAL SERVICES
WE HAVE SUPPORTED
the hospital ever since the bank’s founding 20 years ago,
because we believe in supporting the needs of our local medical community. Archbold
is a vital resource for our region and offers services you would typically find only in big-
ger metropolitan areas.
TNB and TNB Financial Services are proud to give back to our community. We are all
fortunate to live in a special place like Thomasville, and we are extremely fortunate to
have the quality and caliber of medical services offered by Archbold. Giving back to the
Archbold Foundation is our way of saying thank you to an institution that has served the
growing medical needs of Thomasville for 90 years.
Givethanks!
